The pitch.

SKY Waikiki is the rooftop you take the photo at. Nineteen stories up, Diamond Head perfectly framed, an oyster in one hand and a Mangorita in the other while the sun drops into the Pacific. Show up at 4:30 PM for happy hour, stay through sunset, and on Friday or Saturday let it turn from cocktail bar into rooftop nightclub around 9:30. Wear something you'd be photographed in.

What it actually is.

SKY sits 19 floors above Kalākaua on the top of Waikiki Business Plaza, with a wraparound open-air terrace pointed at Diamond Head and the ocean. It plays two roles in one room: from 4 PM to 9 PM it's a polished raw bar and cocktail lounge — oysters, sushi, Wagyu, hand-shaken cocktails, soft live DJs. From 9:30 PM on weekends it pivots into a full nightclub with dancing, late-night birria ramen and tacos, and an enforced "smart casual" dress code that turns sharper as the night progresses. The view is the headline — there is no rooftop in Waikiki with a higher elevation or a better Diamond Head sightline.

Outside happy hour, it's known for…
