The pitch.

Green Lady is what happens when serious bartenders get a 20-seat room and a budget. You walk through a courtyard at the White Sands, find a door marked "Room 8," push past the bamboo, and step into 1930s Singapore — velvet banquettes, brass rails, and a menu of juleps, slings, and absinthe drips made by some of the best mixologists in the country. No reservations, no phone, no cover. Just show up at 8 PM on a Wednesday or Thursday and you'll get the full performance.

What it actually is.

Opened in 2023 inside Waikiki's White Sands Hotel — one of the last true walk-up motor-court hotels left on the strip — and immediately became the bar that out-of-town bartenders ask about when they visit Honolulu. The conceit: arrive at the White Sands courtyard, walk to door "Room 8," push through a wall of bamboo into a 20-seat room dressed for 1930s Singapore, all jade velvet, brass, and low amber light. The menu, run by head bartender Maddie Finnegan (Bar Czar People's Choice Award, 2023), riffs on Prohibition-era and colonial Southeast Asian formats — Singapore Slings, juleps, absinthe drips.
