The Canadian chain's first Hawaii location — opened October 2025. 13,000 sq ft, open-air, opposite the Royal Hawaiian. Twice-daily happy hour including a rare 10 PM late-night window. Local-rum mai tai program.
The biggest, newest, most-talked-about cocktail bar in upper Waikiki — a 13,000-square-foot open-air room on Kalākaua opposite the Royal Hawaiian, anchored by a serious bar program (fresh-squeezed agave margaritas, nitro espresso martinis, local-rum mai tais) and a twice-daily happy hour that includes a real 10 PM late-night window. New since October 2025 and rated 4.7 stars by 800+ OpenTable diners in its first half-year.
Opened October 8, 2025 as the Canadian chain's first Hawaii location. Nearly 13,000 square feet — the merged former footprints of Atlantis Seafood & Steak and California Pizza Kitchen — with seating for 300+ and an open-air design built around skylights, lush tropical greenery, and commissioned artwork from local Hawaiian artists. The patio overlooks Kalākaua Avenue directly across from the Royal Hawaiian. Cuisine is modern American with global inspiration — sticky Korean ribs, miso-glazed Chilean sea bass, tomahawk maple-glazed pork chop, 45-day-aged steaks, pressed sushi, wagyu oshi. But the bar is the headline.
Half-price select cocktail during the 10 PM late-night window — Earls' cocktails are priced high to start, so the half-off math is the strongest value play in upper Waikiki at that hour.
Being the most-anticipated bar opening of late 2025 in Waikiki; the twice-daily happy hour (rare in Waikiki to get a real 10 PM happy hour at this price tier); the local-rum mai tai program.
10 PM on a Thursday — late-night happy hour just kicked in, the dinner rush is rolling out, and the patio is at its best after dark.
